The site is beautiful and the tutorials are thorough.

I have made a drawstring lunch sack with a different tutorial, but this one here is so clear and well made! I will be making more of these!, modifying the design to make it quicker and easier.

Drawstring bags are pretty easy, but I LOVE how this one is done with the casing up top!

This is the technique (I followed a different tute, but can't find it now,) that I used for patching my son's jeans. He loves them, but I am loving these fancy flowers!

I am going to try some of these tutorials at Expect Moore. There are a few that look fabulous!

Ninja Cut Out

I spent FNSI cutting up my little ninja. I will try to sew him before the weekend in over. He will be my son's valentine. My son was a red ninja for halloween this year and is intent on being that again this next year.

Harper Dress

I LOVE getting these patterns to test! It is so fun to explore a new pattern and see how a new garment transforms! I wish I was as talented as Amy who drafted up this pattern!

Red Ninja Dragon

The red ninja is complete. I found this iron-on at Michael's and instantly knew it would be perfect for the red hoodie I had already put together.

I think I like it more than the boy in the house!

Which fabric to use?

HELP! I am making a little dress and can't decide on the right fabric combo!

There is this Turquoise that I HAVE TO USE!
(the bright picture with the flowers in the middle is the correct color.)

Does it look good with the stripes?

I want to be open for Christ to come in. My 6 year old tells me that the Holy Spirit is here with us. That's what Jesus left behind to guide us and help us, he says. May I be open to that wonderful gift of the Holy spirit.

Open spaces for running, how I wish I could give my son that blessing. In our cramped apartment and unsafe neighborhood, we often are left in this closed off space.

Open skies, beautiful dreams for the new year. May we be open to the possibilites that await us.

Baby Gift

The baby has been in the world for a good two months now and I am just completing these. I don't even know if she needs any more BURP CLOTHES, but here you go. Done.

Elf Adventures

Our Magic Elf, James, has done some mischief over the past few days, but he has also done some good! My son loves getting up each morning and searching the house for him to see what he has gotten into!

Doing "Elf on the Shelf" has brought us out of a dull spell; out of a sleeping-in and not wanting to go to school spell. We are definitely doing this again next year!
